This hotel is great, considering the prices and value for money - it's an affordable stay for anyone who wants a comfortable place to spend the night. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always providing tips for local travel and willing to negotiate deals for autorickshaws and cabs. I loved the location of this hotel as it's close to the hospital, local market, seashore and birds watching place, as well as being not too far from the ECR highway.

The check-in process can be a bit confusing if you arrive before noon.

My recent stay at Southern Residency was quite pleasant. The size of the room was impressive, providing ample space for relaxation. The room services were prompt and efficient, ensuring a comfortable stay. The air-conditioning in the room worked well, keeping me cool during the hot days. The bed, a king-size one, was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep.

I recently had a good experience at this hotel. The staff was very polite and the service was excellent. They have a well-planned customer stay with good amenities, including a beauty parlor on-site. The hotel is also conveniently located close to Chettinad hospital, the seashore & birds watching place, and the beautiful Kovalam beach. It's also easily accessible from the ECR highway. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities.

The only minor downside was that the hotel could consider extending the hours of their coffee shop, as it's a bit far from other dining options. Other than that, everything was alright.

Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near Chettinad hospital and the stunning Kovalam beach. Secondly, the staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout my stay. They were highly professional and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met. Not only were the basic amenities well-maintained, but the rooms were also equipped with all the necessary facilities, including comfortable beds in both Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2. Lastly, the breakfast served at the hotel was absolutely delightful. The tasty vada, dosai, and sauces were prepared hygienically and offered a variety of authentic dishes.

Although everything else was fantastic, there was one minor issue that could be improved upon.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was a great decision! We loved the friendly staff who always greeted us with a smile and offered helpful local tips. The spacious rooms and delicious food were the best aspects of our stay. We enjoyed the convenient location, only a short distance away from popular attractions. Plus, the hotel had a lovely pool area where we could relax and soak up the sun.

The cleanliness could have been better, especially in the corridors, and the room service was a bit slow. However, the staff were helpful and promptly addressed any concerns we had.
